Helping a friend with lavender love with a custom set of 3 lavender bags!

One of the most rewarding benefits of creating beautiful things is the opportunity it avails you to put a smile on someone's face.  I've spent my entire Sunday morning creating my new product line of handmade lavender bags when I noticed thoughts of a dear friend's current troubles zipping around my head. So I stopped my production and sought out some beautiful cheery and loving fabrics to create her and her 2 girls a lavender bag each. I used 3 different fabrics within the same range and then the same purple backs to tie them all together (and also hold the girls together)!  Hopefully they'll take some comfort during the tough times, give it a squeeze and take in a big breath of calming lavender and remember that I am always thinking of them.

It's so easy to get caught up in our own worlds.  Personally I have been extremely busy getting my new business up and running as well as being a wife and mother to 2 kids under 3.  Sometimes we can be moving so fast that we miss important things going on around us so I just wanted to stop and put my energy, thoughts and time into a very dear friend I wished lived closer, just to let her know I'm thinking of her and I love her.
