About Us
Hello and thanks for visiting!
A little bit about me and my business. Firstly let's start with the name:
Harlan is derived from the names of my two children Harley & Alannah (Lani) and it was after the birth of my first child Harley that my love for sewing was born so I felt it apt to include my children in my business name.
The urban dictionary says:
Harlan, a creature said to be extinct- with the ability of clapping extremely loudly- is said to be the one of the most attractive beings who ever lived.
What do I do at Harlan House & Home?
I design, create and sell my own handmade / handicrafted products as well as selling some Australian Made, Fair Trade and Sustainable products for other local and global social enterprises.
I love homewares and fabrics and am open to collaboration with other designers, artists and craftists so please get in touch if you want to sell your products or collaborate with me to design and create something special.
I believe all homes should be filled with colour and creativity to inspire beauty within and without and strive to make affordable quality homewares people will enjoy for years to come.
This is all of us enjoying some non-sewing time
